About
With a career spanning over two decades, I bring extensive experience in tax preparation and a deep commitment to serving my clients. My professional journey began in Title and Escrow, where I spent 10 years developing strong administrative and client-service skills before the 2006 housing crisis prompted a career shift.
Recognizing an opportunity to grow my professional skills, I enrolled at Empire Business College, earning my education in computerized accounting while simultaneously completing the certification requirements to become a CTEC & PTIN-certified tax preparer. The following tax season, I joined Tax Service Plus, where I had the privilege of working under the mentorship of Terry Brown for 13 seasons. This invaluable experience honed my technical skills and deepened my passion for helping clients navigate complex tax matters. I continued my work at Tax Service Plus under new ownership for an additional five years after Terry’s retirement.
In 2007, I also joined the County of Sonoma, where I have cultivated a fulfilling career in local government. In 2024, I embraced a long-held dream and launched my own home-based tax business, a journey made possible through the encouragement of family, friends, and the steadfast support of Tamara Figlar, CPA.
I am excited to begin this new chapter, dedicated to building lasting relationships and empowering my clients to achieve their financial goals with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
